Doing this accomplishes two things: 1) It directs police to respond ASAP, and illegal parkers might get ticketed, depending on the response time; 2) It creates a data set that we will examine going forward to determine who are the biggest violators, where the most violators are, etc.

Happy reporting!

Penn Station Covered Bike Racks Ready to Go

Penn Station.jpg

Remember when the bike racks at Penn Station were undergoing construction, wrapped in police tape?  Well, we have some good news.  Gone is the police tape, and the racks are ready to go!

After this hellacious snow storm is done for good, make sure you head on over and take advantage.  Like the other bike racks at Penn Station, I'm sure these babies will be in high demand.

How to Get a Bike Rack Installed in Baltimore City

At long last, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation has bike racks and ready to be installed across Baltimore City.

It's pretty straightforward to request one.  Just email Caitlin Doolin with the address and specific description of where they want the rack(s) to go.

Make sure you spread the word, especially to business owners around the city.  Let's try to get these things popping up all over the place throughout the year and beyond!
