Candidates owe it to the citizens of Baltimore to have a plan to ensure everyone has access to transportation that is safe, affordable, and reliable. Transportation is the foundation that allows people to get to work and school. It means people can access necessities like fresh food and health care. It enables people to explore Baltimore and experience all it has to offer without searching for parking. 

In this election year, we asked all candidates for Mayor, City Council President, and City Council to submit questionnaires. Some candidates chose not to respond to our questionnaire, which is a pretty clear indication of their prioritization of walking, biking, and transit. We encourage you to review the questionnaires of candidates who did spend time explaining their positions on transportation in Baltimore City.
