What if there was a fun and safe way to walk or bike from your neighborhood to a trail that ran through 50+ neighborhoods throughout Baltimore?
We're creating a temporary crosswalk connecting Auchentoroly Terrace to Druid Hill Park — to show you that it is possible!
We've been working to create the Baltimore Greenway Trails Network, a 35 mile loop around Baltimore made by connecting existing trails. It will go through many Baltimore neighborhoods, and we want to ensure that the neighboring communities can get to it easily.
We're inviting neighbors and friends to commit to walking or biking across our demonstration crosswalk to get to the Druid Hill Farmers Market on Wednesday, September 28th. By joining us that day, you'll see what's possible and demonstrate your support for improved bike and pedestrian infrastructure in Baltimore.
This installation is a collaboration with public artist Graham Coreil-Allen, the Rails-to-Trails Conservatory, and the Baltimore Greenway Trails Network.
