We’ll be moving the Mobile Bike Shop to Wednesdays starting in June to pop up alongside the Druid Hill Farmers’ Market on the first Wednesday of each month. Come find us with your bike for free repairs!
We will also be tabling with Graham Projects who will be collecting feedback on a design for the Big Jump:
Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) and community partners Bikemore, Black People Ride Bikes, and Graham Projects are collaborating on the “Lake to Lake” project to increase visibility and access to Druid Hill Park and Lake Montebello. Lake to Lake will include traffic calming, pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements, and public art at 33rd Street at Hillen Ave and along The Big Jump walking / wheelchair / bicycle path.
Join us at the Druid Hill Farmers Market on Wednesday, August 4th, 3:30-7:30pm, for a pop-up drawing activity to share YOUR ideas for art leading to Lake Montebello and Druid Lake!
Spin is sponsoring this Mobile Bike Shop and will pop up next to us to give away free helmet and provide people with information on how you can use their scooters & micromobility services!
