Friday Night Lights is back, and with more outdoor activities! All are welcome to participate in this evening of connection with our public parks and each other. All activities are free, and registration is required. Check out our map of all the activities & how to get to Lake Montebello.
We invite folks to come to Lake Montebello with their wheels (bikes, skates, scooters, chairs) with bike lights to light up Lake Montebello at night and ride with friends! For those that are interested, we’ll also be hosting the following activities:
6PM-8PM - Mobile Bike Shop: Bring your bike for donation-based bike repairs and assessments from Bikemore!
6PM - Hike in Herring Run! Join Friends of Herring Run Park, Impact Hub, and Rails to Trails Conservancy for an all-levels 2-mile hike through Herring Run to learn about the history and future of the park and connect with neighbors. The hike will be partially on dirt trails and partially on paved paths, with little change in elevation.
6:30PM - All-Levels Yoga with Divayogi! Wind down at the the end of the week with a yoga session led by Divayogi. Bring your own mat + props to participate.
6:30PM - Basic Rollerskating Tutorials! Lainey will be teaching basic rollerskating tips and then leading folks in rolling around the lake!
7:30PM - Race around the Lake! Bikemore will be leading bike races around the Lake. Sign up to race and win some bragging rights.
