The DC Bike Ride has launched a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From Nov. 1-21, DC Bike Ride will host the DC Virtual Ride (DCVR) presented by CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Events DC. Participants from all over the country will be able to join the DCVR, and then ride on their own schedule to earn a variety of prizes.
Registration for the DCVR is open until Oct. 31.
Upon registering, participants receive a Virtual Rider Kit, which includes a hydration backpack, a double-layered face cover, and gifts from Dunkin’ and the DCBRShop. To qualify for prizes, participants must complete 100 miles or 10 rides of 3+ miles before Nov. 21. Additional participants will also be randomly selected for further prize kits.
